Terms of use

Last updated: Septempber 2025

These terms govern your use of Kirro ("the Service"), operated by Kirro ("we", "us", "our"). By using Kirro, you agree to these terms.

1. What Kirro does

Kirro is an A/B testing platform. You use it to create visual experiments on your website, measure results, and decide which version performs better. The Service includes the Kirro dashboard, SDK (website snippet), Chrome Extension, and related APIs.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into these terms. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. Your websites and data

You retain ownership of your websites, content, and data. By using Kirro, you grant us a limited license to access your website data (such as page URLs, analytics metrics, and event names) solely to provide the Service.
You are responsible for having the right to run A/B tests on the websites you connect to Kirro, ensuring your tests comply with applicable laws (including privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA), and informing your website visitors about A/B testing if required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kirro for anything illegal or to harm others, interfere with the Service or attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service (except where permitted by law), resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission, or use the Service to collect personal data from visitors in violation of privacy laws.

5. The SDK and Chrome Extension

The Kirro SDK runs on your website visitors' browsers. You are responsible for disclosing its use in your own privacy policy if required by applicable law. The SDK assigns visitors to test groups using a first-party cookie and sends anonymous conversion data to Kirro.
The Chrome Extension is a tool for creating test variations. It only activates when launched from the Kirro dashboard and does not collect browsing data.

6. Third-party integrations

Kirro integrates with third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. When you connect these services, you authorize Kirro to access data as described in our Privacy Policy, you are responsible for complying with those services' own terms, and we are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party data.

7. Pricing and payment

Free plans are available with usage limits as described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing billing periods are honored at the previous price. Refunds are available within 14 days of your first payment if you're not satisfied.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. Upon cancellation, your active tests will stop running, your data will be deleted within 30 days, and you will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep Kirro available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kirro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost revenue or profits from A/B test results, inaccurate test data or statistics, downtime or service interruptions, or issues caused by third-party integrations. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Intellectual property

Kirro's software, design, and branding are our intellectual property. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights to our technology. You retain all rights to your own content and data.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. We will provide notice and an opportunity to export your data unless the violation is severe (e.g., illegal activity or abuse).

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
